Any non-op/ed cites/links or just "BREAKING: Trust me bro" sourcing?

You actually spent all this time to write about the actions of a historically unpopular deadbeat president? People are only opening this thread to DV it.

That is being incorrectly cited by NPCs as a reason to justify Trump defying court orders, yes.

If people aren't buying "the truth" then we have a lot of problems (and more threads like this are needed....many more)

This in response to the echo chamber arguing Trump should ignore the rulings

well he should because no court, not even the supreme court, has the ability to tell the executive branch how to do their job in cabinets that specifically fall under the executive branch like these items do.

usaid is part of the dept of state which is very very clearly under the EB

dept of education is clearly under EB

etc

if you want to point to the part of the constitution where it says the courts can tell the EB how they spend the money congress has allocated...would be happy to hear the argument. Now i agree trying to use what Joe tweeted as justification is dumb because there is no justification needed.

and i personally thinking we need a constitutional ruling on the ability of lower courts to issue nation wide or any ruling outside its district.

i know the SC was not designed to have that kind of workload but it also wasn't imagined that every move the president made would have a lawsuit filed to try and stop either. Not even close to what separation of powers or checks and balances was designed for.

The Biden administration had a goal of forgiving student loans.

They didn’t care how they did it.

When the Supreme Court said they couldn’t use the Heroes act, they did it in a different illegal fashion. If it get litigated out, it will be shown to be clearly illegal.

So both sides are mostly right. You are correct that they did not ignore the Supreme Court. They obviously ignored the law.

I didn't read any of that because I'm posting on the PT so I'm wearing my retarded clothes today.

I'd probably disagree with it anyway even if I did read it, and I'm sure I'd have logical reasons for the disagreement.

See OP. They have the power to analyze the constitutional or statutory propriety of the executive action.

The specifics are irrelevant until a final appeal decision is made (be it at the circuit or USSC level).

That's more of an issue for Congress. Congress defines what jurisdictions and procedures the lower courts have.

Again, this is ultimately an issue of Congress. Rule by EO is due to Congress largely abdicating its rulemaking portion of the federal government.

The senile old crook couldn't put two sentences together, but you're still carrying his water? Dude, your boy Brandon is gone. He's been relegated to the ash bin of history.

Meanwhile, there's a new sheriff in town who is kicking butt and taking names. He's looking into governmental waste and fraud, deporting illegals, taking steps to protect the border, and restoring America's rightful standing in the world.
AND YET,youre choosing to ignore all that while you white-knight for a nincompoop who didn't possess the mental acumen to know better than to read the instructions on his teleprompter? But by all means, keep propping up Mr. 'End of Speech,' a haggard old man who probably won't even wake up for another 2 hours.

Enjoy being on the wrong side of history, schmuck.

PS - Did you vote for Kamala, or did you cast a write-in vote for Kanye again? LMAO!

PSLF is a legitimate avenue to forgive student loans and was created by Congress in 2007 with GWB signing it into law.
