Also...claiming a primary source when it clearly is not was strange.
I enjoy Hank, though. And he is clearly an attorney. Questioning that isn’t a good strategy. (Not directed at you).

He is a family law guy, I think. It’s why he knows procedure so well. He is in court a lot. Which makes his primary source assertion so strange.
I have, in the past, found some of his legal analysis lacking. Though that doesn’t mean much. Lawyers argue different legal interpretations in court every day.

I think it's funny. A lot of attorneys on these boards seem to think they're in moot Court and we're all a bunch of rubes who don't know anything about argument because we aren't lawyers.
Yet. Frankly. I haven't found in my 52 years that attorneys really are, by default, terribly good at argument because argument is as much talent as it is education.
A lot of attorneys may know the law but are no better at argument than your average fantasy football fan.

I've been in court once in my lifetime as a witness confronted by a family law attorney and I fricking embarrassed him. I actually was testifying on behalf of my first wife against her abusive husband
His attorney thought he was going to yes no me into a corner and I fricking made a fool of him to the point that the judge actually cited my testimony as the primary reason he ruled against the husband.

A lot of truth here. However, knowledge of procedure and the elements of whatever is being litigated can be helpful. It’s why Muh Obstruction and Muh Collusion were so frustrating. (That knowledge isn’t exclusive to Attorney’s...but they do deal with it much more often than most).

I think the biggest problem is the "plan". It is an art to understand how to get evidence presented in a way that benefits your argument.
