Not even remotely. Libertarian is far more right then the fake conservatives on here. It's about freedom. Something Republicans started forgetting about. Small, localized government is far more effective than Federal government in many areas. Obviously you still need a Federal government, but you shouldn't rely on it for most things because it is to large and poorly managed.

For Libertarian beliefs, I prefer to say same sex couples should be allowed to use tax-free guns to protect their marijuana plants.
