We got a taco John's here. Is fast food but their bean burritos > taco bell. We also have a plethora of actual Mexican restaurants, so its sometimes hard to fit taco John's in.

As a white Hispanic, I love that my "uniqueness" comes from a breakfast taco from San Antonio. Good to know that it could be from a chorizo and egg taco or a barbacoa taco. What a goober.

Before I had seen any Taco Bell's there were these folks. A fellow airman was retiring and his plan was to buy into a chain that would compete. This was in 1974
I grew up eating at the first franchised TJ's in its chain. The company is based in Cheyenne, WY and the first unit it franchised was in Rapid City, SD - in 1969. I don't think Rapid City got its first Taco Bell until sometime in the 80's.

That's just insulting. No wonder Mayra Flores was elected from a district that Dems have controlled since 1873.

For the record, San Antone does have the best breakfast tacos

It's really pretty amazing how quickly fajitas and breakfast tacos have spread.
I never saw either north of San Antonio until about the 90s, and now both are nationwide.
In 1984 Chili's which had first opened its doors in 1975, added fajitas to its menu in 23 different locations.

I was eating both in Nebraska in the late 70's and early 80's hauling alfalfa to Medina Texas.

Remember the hell they put OMB through for this?
His advisors hid his phone on June 19 that year.

I heard tens of people clapping. I would like to see the crowds at these events. The Biden crowds are very enthusiastic about them.

I really want to try that taco bowl. It looks damn good.

And you failed to spell bodegas correctly.
