I agree with this. Obviously I have no idea what the truth is but from what we know of Trump, I can only deduce two things:

1: Even a President can be shutout of SAP classified information.

2: Or even a man as brash as Trump recognizes that the truth of that event would cause an injury critical to the United States of America or start a world war.

I can see absolutely no other reason.

From the moment Jack Ruby shot Oswald on live TV, I never believed Ruby shot him for any other reason than to prevent the truth from coming out.

computer techs in 1963....I saw my first computer card in 1968.

60 years ago today I was in study hall, third floor library when the announcement was made. A lot of students were visibly upset

no possible way you could cycle it 3x and fire it accurately (including a head shot on a moving target) in 6 seconds

I think the fallacy is in saying "three cycles in 6 seconds.

There were only TWO cycles in the 6 seconds.

The first bullet was already in the chamber and finger on the trigger for the start of the 6 second interval. therefore first shot came at time 0. And the time ends with 3rd shot

only TWO recycles in the 6 seconds required.

One cycle => pull trigger, chamber new round, aim.

computer techs in 1963

I graduated in 1960 - there were no 'computer' related courses that I knew of wrt engineering.

In fact, one of my senior year classes announced that LSU had acquired a new 'digital computer' (don't really know how long they had had it, but this was my first intro to 'digital' computing.) All my life my slide rule had been my only 'math aid'.

We went after hours to have someone tell us about the wonders of this new 'digital computer' = and I was sorely UNIMPRESSED.

partly because of my complete ignorance of the topic - but also because of how the presenter introduced the thing.

He said - "with this computer, you can "add one millionth to one million."

I guess he was trying to impress us slide rule barbarians with our 3-digit accuracy. BUT he completely failed to impress on me why anyone would want to come up with an 'accurate' answer of 1,000,000.0000001 . Of course we were all involved with practical engineering and not the requirements of financial institutions, etc.

IF he had highlighted the LOGIC power provided for structuring a series of computations or the way it could generate graphic outputs, I would have been way more impressed.

Instead he left me thinking it was just a big fast calculator.

Had to wait until I graduated and went to California to work for the old Convair Aircraft corp to find out about how useful they could be - and even then I started out with ANALOG computers, not the digital supergiants. Lots of headaches for me in making that leap.

Mrs. Blackwell's 6th grade class. She returned from the Teachers' break room and told us the news.

this has been my only conclusion also, but I cannot imagine the scenario behind that.

to me it was all LBJ wanting to be POTUS and this was his only route to it - was going to be replaced as VP in next election.

But how he got the 3 letter agencies to cooperate had always been a mystery to me (my mind has been changed on that topic after witnessing what they did to Trump in the past decade.)

I still think it was a mob-related hit, but am certainly willing to be pursuaded that the FEDs were involved somehow - if only to not stop the whole thing before it could be executed.

Much truth to that.

Seems JFK's daddy got the mob vote to put him over the top and beat Nixon. Later, JFK got his brother Bobby as AG, to go after the mob. He double crossed them.

There are some good docs about Dallas at that time and they don’t paint the best picture.
There were shenanigans going on in the south, for sure. Carlos Marcelo ran the mob in Louisiana. In Shreveport, George D'Artois, he ran the mob activities as the public safety commissioner, and his name came up in the investigation. He was also indicted for the murder of Jim Leslie, but died before he could face trial.

Those days were (D)different, for sure, but the criminals have just gone more underground, and less obvious.

Far easier to buy into than multiple shooters. The convenience of Jack Ruby just HAPPENING to wander into the garage, being "allowed" because officers knew him...never set with me, even as a kid. This wasn't like some sporting event, or a club, where you'd let a buddy in under the velvet rope just because you knew him. Oswald had to be taken care of, and done so in a very public manner, to ensure EVERYONE saw it.

JFK had many enemies.

He pissed of the white supremacists that year by embarrassing Gov. George Wallace and was going to get a civil rights bill passed that LBJ championed the next year to make himself look good.

He pissed of the USSR by embarrassing Krushchev with the Cuban Missile crises.

He double crossed the Mob.

He betrayed Castrol when he hung him out to dry in the Bay of Pigs.

Slept with Marilyn Monroe.

Here’s the thing about that… they have a detailed account of Ruby’s movements that morning with documentation. That mroning, he casually went around running errands. He wired money to a woman. He went to a newspaper office to place an ad.

Oswald was scheduled to leave well before Ruby actually arrived, however Oswald himself asked for a change of clothes before being transferred, which delayed his departure just long enough for Ruby to get there.

Now, if you’ve been ordered by a mafia boss to take Oswald out, wouldn’t you make sure that you were there well ahead of the departure time?

We also know Jack Ruby was a loud mouth braggart. By the rationale of him killing Oswald to silence him, wouldn’t you have to kill Ruby too? He lived for years after the assassination and testified to the Warren Commission

Ruby was a liar and the narrative being pushed at the time was that Ruby admired JFK and wanted to kill Oswald because Oswald killed Kennedy. I never believed that story or the Warren Commission.
