No, that is not how this thing works.

In NYC, so many people have it already, they may be able to relax the strings a little bit.

It is more those areas that never had it and can still get the spike that may need to go beyond april.

This does not end when the infections stop. I don't think the infections stop for years to come. This stops when people go back to work and play as normal and if they get sick they quarantine themselves.

I realize Covid 19 is different from the flu but eventually we will treat it like the flu. Some will get it every season the oldest and sickest will die, and the rest of us will have a bad week every 5 to 10 years.
