Long story short we found ourselves with leftover embryos after IVF that we didn't implant after we go pregnant on our own multiple times after being told we would woukd have no kids by quite a few doctors....

After several years of debate we decided to donate them instead of them dying....

Only to find out because of some bloodwork they didnt do at the beginning they were ineligible to be adopted out.

We had to let them go as they were no longer implantable. I have them with me in a small ornate box. There were 5 of them. I think about it daily. I've been to confession and it has taken its toll on me mentally.

We were young and trusted doctors more than the Lord. These docs never told us we may have left overs.

I don't wish this burden I'll carry till the day I die on anyone. We have 3 awesome kids which only make me think what would the other 5 have been?
