So the inside story that I heard (to be taken with a grain of salt) is that Jeff's office DID want restrictions but not that broad. The author filed anyway (or without checking with the governor's staff, IDK).

The blowback was intense and they asked him to withdraw.

So it may come back in a more limited form, or the blowback was such that they decide not to fool with such nonsense.

Again, all just rumors swirling around the capital.
