You're right. It takes huge amounts of courage to sign pleadings and file them online.
Its better than just writing a strongly worded letter.

Must be pretty easy to win Supreme Court cases
How many of those cases did Jeff Landry argue before SCOTUS?
(The answer is zero. The solicitor general did that.)

How is he faux-religious?

How many AGs personally argue to the SCOTUS? The answer is zero, that is the job of a solicitor general.

Correct, which is why I don’t give any state AG’s credit for signing pleadings and putting their name in the caption. They do zero of the work.

His faux-religious pandering on cultural issues throughout his career is a great start.

Isn't the office responsible for bringing the motions for the case up in the first place?

There it is. So like i suspect, the people that are virulently against Landry, is because they have a personal axe to grind against him. Not so much his political resume.

I have nothing against him on a personal level. He’s a nice guy.
He’s just a fake, smarmy politician that I don’t believe is intelligent or well suited to govern. I’ve never met anyone who has dealt with him professionally that feels differently than I do.

Is this the guy suing Biden etc. for scheming with social media companies? At least he has some balls.
He knows the outcome doesn’t matter.
Like when he signed the one from Texas trying to overturn the election. It was never going to win.
It’s pandering and y’all gobble it up.
Super awesome that he tied up State time and resources to fight the State at every turn. Again win or lose just to say he did it.

Bill Cassidy is mulling it over? Lol. Talk about not knowing your audience.

Well he’s got my vote out of everyone declared right now. Which is just him and Nungesser. So my vote is subject to change.

My mistake.

But can you give me examples? There are many of us who have not met him personally or professionally, so when someone just says, "he's an idiot" with no explanation (not talking in particular, about you) then it's easy to dismiss.
Granted, nothing wows me about Landry, other than him doing his job appropriately during the pandemic, and not taking the easy road of "do nothing and hope not to get noticed". He did what he was supposed to do, and challenged a corrupt regime intent on control over the citizenry and WON. Today, not many politicians have the guts to do that.

Your opinions on the subject dont' matter. I'm not asking progressives their opinions on who they think the next Governor should be. Let me guess, you pick Stacy Abrams?

Can anyone using this justification tell us who, at the state level, does not meet this description? Would you rather support Billy? Or Cassidy? Is there a white knight out there that is only running for the good of the state?
