Except he is advocating for blatantly disregarding the 5th and 14th amendment. I get yall hate Illegals...and hell so do I...but not granting due process means ice could pick up just anyone and ship them out and claim they were illegals. Due process is simply doing the due diligence to prove they are illegal.


So Vance is totally off base here, and nobody should be supporting this

and this is the issue...MAGA doesnt know what due process is. It isn't the sentencing, it's proving that someone is in fact illegal in a court of law.

Why a court of law and not just checking papers? well firstly, we arent nazi germany where we are required to show our papers to any lawman who asks... secondly, no matter what people say, the lawman can lie. Court allows someone to bring proof before court for a ruling in front of a judge.

so yes, due process is necessary to make sure we arent sending innocent people out of the country. The fact it is afforded to non citizens in turn protects citizens.

I'm not being snarky when I ask this, but what steps should be required for this due process to determine whether someone is in this country illegally or not? Should it require a trial? Being here legally vs illegally seems pretty binary, and not really a potential "beyond a reasonable doubt" situation.

I understand the constitutional and "slippery slopes" concerns, but we know what usually happens when illegals are detained and given a court date. They're released and disappear until they're picked up on some other charge. In the rare occasion that they show up to trial, activist judges go easy on them and refuse to deport.

Trump has done a phenomenal job closing the border, but the deportations haven't come close to what he promised (I never expected him to follow through with "mass" deportations). But if the Trump admin doesn't get aggressive with the deportations, then leftist judges will make it pretty much impossible to accomplish. Biden ignored immigration laws and not only let foreigners cross the border at will, but he flew them straight on in from their 3rd world countries. If Trump decides to play by the rules (unlike Biden), then we'll barely make a dent in the illegal population, and the next dem in charge is going to start flooding the country again.

Democrats are NEVER going to follow the law when it comes to immigration, so why should Republicans (at least the few that actually care about immigration)? I don't give a shite if Trump is skirting the law. The realistic worst case scenario is that legal immigrants (but still non-citizens) get deported. We have too many legal immigrants anyway, so frick it.

It might be proven illegal based on the fact that our election in 2020 was illegal. Flying in all these "undocumented" migrants (why would ANYONE be okay with this!) to help overthrow our country by a false president....might just be illegal. So maybe you have an argument, but the whole nature of our government operation has been usurped. I think the illegal election trumps (pun intended) any "so called legal" trafficking that happened under the fake president's watch.

They weren't crying when all these "immigrants" were being let it, except when they flooded red cities like NewYork,

Every body shouting due process , this fricker had 2 deportation orders against him, he got his due process, now his arse is where he belongs and he been here 14 years

Biden's failure to follow the process of law and thereby flooding our country with illegals threatened our life, liberty, and property.

Trump is finally giving the American people the process we were due by reversing the threat as quickly as possible.

You can't get any more Constitutional than that.

Well said. Deporting millions of illegal immigrants will also lower inflation and reduce the cost of things like housing/rental market, there will be no ‘shortages’ of any kind it will free up resources for our educators, police, and hospital staff. Low IQ illegal immigrants are a drain on society and are costing this country billions per year.

We already know Kilmar Garcia is an Illegal Immigrant who has had a deportation order since 2019. He’s already had due process. He’s not coming back here.

If a person is here illegally and not a citizen, wouldn't that person still be considered to be under the jurisdiction of his home country, where he is a legal citizen?
