Yeah, but we gotta pardon 37 death row inmates right?!
Pardon? No. Didn’t happen.

commuted sentences not the same as a pardon

I wouldn’t say plenty. I’d say that there was a legit tussle with police that escalated but my impression is this is less than 100 people. I could be wrong.
I do think those people should be in jail for a while, but also if we’re 4 years later and we haven’t had a trial AND people have been in jail, our justice department has violated people’s right to a speedy and fair child.

Most who were actually prosecuted committed some form of violence, so this would mean almost zero pardons. The DoJ did not generally pursue people who were non-violent.
Are you really this dumb or do you just pretend to be?

What are they defining violence as lol

What about all the FBI guys that committed unlawful acts?

This is such a weak stance to take. He needs to to look at the way they've all been treated and say "it's going to be looked at". And they need to come out saying they are going to look at the behavior by judges, lawyers, officers, jails, etc.
There are people put in solitary and treated worse than terrorists in gitmo.
This is the weak leadership crap that keeps the Right from actually winning.

Not sure why anyone would disagree
If you're serving 2 years for shoving a cop and it's your first offense I might see why some would disagree.

Sure, whatever.
I still maintain that 90% or more of the ones causing chaos and vandalism were eff bee eye plants or antifa or both. It’s nonsensical to believe it every single maga wearing patriot was there was minding their Ps and Qs.
Tough to walk the straight and narrow when you have a concussion grenade & tear-gas tossed at your feet.

The only violence I recall off hand is the black cop shooting a white veteran

Then you should be glad they are in jail.

I remember a racist black guy shooting an unarmed white woman in cold blood on Jan 6th. That was a violent crime. I wonder if he will ever serve jail time?
Posted on 1/12/25 at 2:36 am to 11Eleven
At this point pardon all of them.
