JD Vance has a higher ceiling than Gavin Newsome

People have mentioned Gavin Newsome as a potential problem in 2028.
IMO, if it's Newsome and Vance -- Vance defeats him.
Yes, Newsome appeals to people on the coasts and he will get (a decent amount of women to vote for him based on appearance. I feel like JD Vance has an advantage:
Newsome has zero ability to adjust, make jokes, look human on stage and expand his voting audience. I feel like there is a lot of untapped potential with Vance as far as his target audience. The guy has a good story, solid education and he's not a weak. bad-looking on-stage presence at a debate.
If that's how it goes, I like Vance's chances. Hw will kill it in Ohio, PA and Newsome ain't picking that up outside of his guaranteed coastal base states.

In so many ways Newsome has the trappings of a candidate we should fear - normal looking, often talks like a normal person, understands when to hedge on lefty stuff, from a big state
But he's just got so many bad quotes, history of bad policy, record of disastrous governance...it's just hard to see how he could be successful. We're going to be insanely gas lit by the MSM, but if the right can do its job AT ALL it should be straightforward to make sure low propensity voters know what he's all about.

This is why I think Shapiro is a better choice for them than Newsome, and PA is a swing state.

Agreed. But obviously, The Squad, the imported Muslims and the 20-somethings walking around chanting "Free, free, free Palestine".....will block that from happening.

Gavin Newsom is only going to get the blue no matter who vote. Most liberals know what a disaster he's been in California. Once the campaign ads start firing off about all the horrible shite he's repsponsible for in Cali, he's done.
