How devolving himself into Leftist dishonesty is spun as a good thing makes no sense to me.
He said he would answer her question.
She ignored the terms.
The terms were, "give me some indication of journalistic integrity, otherwise, at best, you're not worth my time."
She refused. Why?
If she truly wanted an answer to her question, why not answer his?

Nothing requires him to be stupid and answer in a stupid manner.
He doesn't have to "answer in the manner in which she wants him to answer" while still directly responding to the quesiton.
This is the problem with MAGA-rhetoric. There's a default fear of looking dumb (for obvious reasons) and they immediately devolve to whataboutism.
A guy like JD Vance should be better than the typical MAGA NPCs who have to rely on this crutch due to intellectual shortcomings.

In that clip, he did not answer "Did Donald Trump lose the 2020 election?"

You did say it and then edited your post when I called you on it.
Now you’re pretending you didn’t say it. Like a bitch.

They're still in the driver's seats. That's how we got a tax cut and regulatory reform last time Trump was in office, and how the Supreme Court got flipped. Trump was a useful pawn in the GOPE's big political game. I'm happy Trump didn't get in the way.
And they wouldn’t have got it done without him. Works both ways.
This thread and conversation is about the presidential race.
Why have conservatives failed to bring someone forward since 2008 who could effectively capture the base and promote the cause?

He isn't so stupid he needs this crutch. That's the problem.

She refused. Why?
Because that is completely non-responsive to the question and devolving to whataboutism.
That's a crutch for dumb people.

I’m 100% certain you aren’t a person that the Trump campaign gives a shite about their opinion. And they shouldn’t.

What ticket would be doing better with the young voters? What ticket would have the young voters this engaged in an election?
Everybody knows that the #1 reason Trunp is doing so well with the young voters is because of Barron Trump so if Trump was not on this ticket, then there would be no young voter support

It wasn’t a question. It was a painting, and he didn’t play by her rules and messed up her little painting of Trump/Vance for her audience.

You and maybe a bunch of other leftists would be the only ones to think he was dumb for not playing along with their stupid

They weren't likely winning in 2008 or 2012 due to 2 GOP terms, and then won in 2016 b/c the DEMS were coming off 2 DEM terms.
Obama was also a political phenomenon, like Trump in 2016. Nobody was beating him. Like Trump, he was down the list of party favorites and ran roughshod in the primaries b/c of how adept he is at being a campaigning politician. In office he became beloved to the majority of the country.

Yes. MAGA does not target the educated or highly intelligent. I'm not disagreeing and have said the same many times.

If he's not going to answer questions he shouldn't be sitting down with journos who will....ask him questions.

Why didnt she answer his?
It wasn't responsive or even on-topic. Plus like in court, she's the one asking questions. That's the paradigm of a media interview.
If he wants a free flowing conversation, I'm sure there are many podcasts who would take him (like Trump is doing).

You mean he refused to answer a simple question? For an interview he agreed to where the point was him being...asked questions?
