Democrat governors will shut their states down.

Republican governors will not.

Sorry Louisiana.

Trends he is creating. He is allowing all these back tests to be counted in daily numbers.

I want him to explain that and the rise in hospitalizations. Where did they come from?

Not a JBE fan, but to be fair I listened and he didn't sound like he is leaning towards another lock down. Said he feels we can control it by just doing what is recommended: mask, wash hands, etc.

The state of Tennessee had 19 more new cases than recoveries in the last 24 hours.

My county has around 20 active cases and 3 dead against a population of 125,000 people.

.@LouisianaGov: Even though don't have today's numbers, there are emerging trends - some things concerning. Since June 10 added more than 4.2K cases. Most not from nursing homes, so what that means is result of community spread #lagov

.@LouisianaGov says lot of talk about second wave in fall, but we are very much still in the first wave. Reality is every Louisianan needs to do a gut check on whether he or she has been slacking off on taking proper precautions.

.@LouisianaGov says LDH working to remove duplicative tests

.@LouisianaGov: Even though don't have today's numbers, there are emerging trends - some things concerning. Since June 10 added more than 4.2K cases. Most not from nursing homes, so what that means is result of community spread

@LouisianaGov: Simple fact is we need people to wear masks, wash hands, stay home where sick. Flatten curve isn't something you do once and then its over. We can easily see gains we've made evaporate

@LouisianaGov says just because more things are open doesn't mean we should go everywhere we can. If you go someplace and too many people and too few wearing masks go somewhere else. Don't go in

.@LouisianaGov: The truth is we have eased restrictions, more businesses open, more customers going into these place and I'm absolutely confident we can do that if follow restrictions and precautions

.@AlexBillioux says recently seeing a number of new cases increases statewide, not just attributed to increase in testing.

Most of the old people forced into care with the infected are dead and counted; the death rate is on decline.

So we admit we can’t properly back date tests for true representations of cases and we have duplicate tests that haven’t been removed throughout this entire process and you want us to believe you? frick off

Then why have % positives continuously decreased yet daily testing increased?

JBE says he will announce on Monday if going to Phase 3.

The good doctor says continued backlog is from facilities that are “new testers” and aren’t in their systems so takes time. Or new testing machines.
