AG Ken Paxton who is in the primary on the Republican side has the Texas Supreme Court rule that all votes in the extended voting period be set aside and not counted until things are sorted out

This is correct. The Dallas Democrats were 100% responsible for reporting the voting locations that the Dallas Democrats chose all on their own with no coersion by Republicans or the state . They were supposed to report those locations to the city, county and state, and all four of these: (party, city, county, state) publishes it online in "lookup my polling place", plus Dems and candidates and their "get out the vote" teams are supposed to hand out these locations to their constituents.

But somebody fricked up, and the Texas Supreme Court said, basically, this is your own mess if your own doing, so, no. You can't count any votes from any voters who weren't in line at 7:00pm. Tough shite.

Talarico appears to have won his primary. That's valuable and I know that MAGA types will rally round Paxton in the apparent Republican runoff. No way any Democrat, not even a strong candidate like Talarico, would have been able to unseat Cornyn, but Paxton will be taken down easily by the Democratic nominee. Paxton is too dishonest, and in general just too weird to be elected Senator from the state of Texas.
