You would have to be an idiot to think Trump did anything wrong. All of DC would be in jail if they were gone after the way everyone has gone after Trump. It is unbelievable.

HHTM perfectly exemplies the veneer of civility that personifies the political establishment. These cretins whine and cry about Trump being unfit for office, yet they simultaneously are using a kangaroo committee and a partisan DOJ to charge someone with a crime that Trump couldn't have committed.
Anyone with an ounce of legal acumen should know that anything Trump said about the election between Election Day and January 6th is protected political speech. It doesn't even come close to meeting the Brandenburg Test, which means it cannot serve as the basis for a seditious conspiracy charge.

This is a pretty big deal. I've heard one former AG say no. The bar level and methods used by congress won't hold up for the DOJ.
