I do think if they try to punish people with student loans they will hurt themselves. That's a big swath of the population. Kicking everyone off SAVE is going to make payments triple.

Elon, just another executive official, is nothing like a PM in the Presidential/PM systems. And in no system that employs both offices does PM become President at any point. Elon isn't the head of government. He works for the guy who is, though.
Why are people now acting like non-elected executive employees are out of the ordinary? The ENTIRE executive branch is unelected outside of POTUS and VPOTUS. It is such a weird line of attack--as if anything that Elon wants to do doesn't require POTUS' signoff.
