hrough analysis of fragments of the victim and suspect's mitochondrial DNA, which is passed down solely from one's mother, researchers were able to compare that with samples taken from living descendants of Eddowes and Kosminski.

The DNA on the shawl has been studied for 8 years. A book published in 2014 also named Kosminski as the likely killer.

Fun Fact: I actually took the Jack he Ripper tour in London. I'm not sure what I was expecting but I walked all through Whitechapel and saw a parking lot, commercial buildings, and tower flats.

Yeah, this guy was a suspect way back in 1888 when it all was happening.

I think that we can FINALLY close this case. I myself thought that it would never be solved.

The syllables match but it lacks something.

Just like Aaron Kosminski, just like mojo hand
Just like Billy Sunday in a shotgun ragtime band
Just like New York City, just like Jericho
Pace the halls, climb the walls and get out when they blow.

I hope they can use this same technology years from now to convict all the rapists and murderers that are roaming the streets right now in London.
