re: J6 prisoner speaks out. ‘I have been held 1000 days without trial.’

I mean, its the elephant in the room right?
SFP's fantasies notwithstanding, we dont have an impartial justice system at the moment. BLM rioters got collective bail funded by the same politicians that are trying to hang J6ers. The DOJ is labeling law abiding people "terrorists" and actively engaging in lawfare and legal persecution of a political candidate, something they claimed was impeachable just 4 years ago. These alleged "crimes" are being committed by prominent democrats including the president, and nothing is being dome. Ray Epps gets a misdemeanor, then guy gets 20 months in the hole. There's no justification for this.

If a clearly politicized FED takes the approach to charge you with a crime you didnt commit, or overcharge the shite out of you, then vow to put you before a hostile judge in a hostile venue, and you ask your attorneys to fight that rather than willingly walk into a meat grinder (all while being beaten and mistreated in holding) its YOUR MF'ing fault.
When discussing the date of the trial, yes, it is.
You need to re-read my disclaimer on page 1. I already knew the typical responses that would occur and I saw to them in post #1.

Mostly criminal these days but I've done mostly everything litigation-related other than bankruptcy

It's all they have. They're lost.
I mean the exchanges between you and I in this thread show that people can even agree and disagree on parts of a particular story/policy without melting down, but some people just want to be outraged and be snowflakes, these days.

and the GOP isn't doing a damn thing about it
and the populace isn't doing a damn thing about it
so... the beatings will continue until morale improves

You think the GOP is going to change the federal criminal codes to make things easier for criminal defendants?

He's only fighting one specific charge.
Even if he wins his appeal to the USSC, he's still going to trial for the rest, with the same judge and jury pool.
His appeal isn't going to magically take care of everything or free him.

maybe thats your issue. You believe a vague little disclaimer shields you from perceived bias, even after 10 pages of shameless shilling.

Why are any Americans being treated this way?
There is absolutely no reason or justification for it.
Especially considering they haven't been convicted of a crime.

When I'm only discussing the procedure involved, but the emotionally-frenzied mob can't separate the various parts of the story, then yes, it should.
That's why I knew it was going to be necessary. There are a lot of Patriots (just look at this thread) who can't separate simple concepts from each other, because they're either so emotionally primed or brain rotted from the echo chamber to separate them.
They want the biased bullshite you see in OP because it makes them emotional and confirms their own biases, and can't even do an objective analysis of the big picture anymore.

These trials should never have been held in the DC venue.

He's neurologically incapable of seeing his own obvious biases.
Oh and the bias isn't "perceived", it's absolute.

good question right there

I'm contending that the FED is overcharging J6ers to force them into a litigious death spiral. Either be jailed, plea, or die a slow financial death. Just like they did with a laundry list of politicians.
You are saying he could have addressed this false charge in court so its technically "his fault". I'm saying the FEDs overcharged him for political reasons, and therefore boxed him in. They are getting the results they wanted. Thats what lawfare is.

No No No. SFP says no matter what asinine charges are levied at you, and what blood thirsty judge and jury they put you before, you should just accept those terms and hope for the best in trial.

Not sure if it has been discussed, but some of this guy’s incarceration details seem a little far-fetched
