No idea but it’s ridiculous. They still brought in billions this past year or two.

Supposedly we have a fraud taskforce being led by the vice president everyone seems to love. They arrested some daycare fraudsters yesterday and that's a good thing, but let's address the frickin elephant in the room at some point too please.

It's amazing to me that these topics on ActBlue don't really get any play on here. Threads about the daycare fraudsters get play, but when we see something about fraud writ large on a systemic scale people just sorta ignore it.

so we had to move my sister in law from california back to little rock, to put in memory care here, memory care is like an assisted living facility for people who don't remember who they are. act blue hit her for 22,000 donations all small dollar donations totaling 50k, we turned it over to the los gatos PD and they opened a case, the real victim here was wells fargo, as they had to reimburse her every dime, after my wife got a hold of them and brought it to their attention.
the detective told my wife, since she was reimbursed it wasn't a crime that really happened to her, it happened to wells fargo.

I don't think the founders of ActBlue fit this bill, but a former CEO of theirs, one Jonathan Zucker, does.

I'm telling you, man. Typically these types of posts are driven forward by trolls who try to shite on the topics and convince people the subject material isn't true. Those same trolls aren't touching this shite. They would rather see this thread disappear from the board so they are trying to pretend it doesn't even exist.
What this tells me is that many of our typical boo-bird type shitheads around here are paid to post here. A good number of them too. Enough so that if they collectively ignore a topic, the topic gets no play.
