You asked the right guy. I listened to a 2 hour lecture by John McWhorter, a black linguist, on this subject. It was fascinating. Short story:
There were 2 major migrations over the land bridge from Asia to Alaska. These migrations were separated by 1,000s of years due to the land bridge being passable.
So, the dumbass Asians crossed first about 10,000 years ago. They migrated south and became the Aztecs. The not-quite-as-dumbass Asians came 5,000 years later and became the American Indians, Canadian Indians and Eskimos.
The newer smart Asians stayed in Asia.

Men and women have the same average IQ but men are more skewed away from center. IE, waaay more men are genius level and waaay more men are retards.

Sure, but you would have to blind to not notice Asians are pretty intelligent as a whole.
In every study you find they rank the highest.

That is why the male line is flatter. Men also tend to do better on ACT/SAT

The article starts off claiming we stereotype Asian Americans implying that only Asian Americans do STEM. But they don't seem to understand it's not just Asian Americans. Take a walk into any STEM graduate school in America and you will see tons of Asians FROM CHINA and other such places (as well as many South Asians like Indians). You will see 1 or 2 white dudes, a couple of white chicks and that's about it. Every so often a black dude will appear, but they're rare.
STEM is dominated by east Asians and Indians today. It's just a fact. And many of them are not Americans - they travel here for their training whether that be graduate school or post-doctoral fellowships. And, of course, most of the Chinese students go back to China and use their training to build the Chinese military, but that's another topic.
Just flip around STEM news websites (Phys.org is great) and read the articles about new developments in the sciences. They almost always quote a doctoral student at MIT or Stanford named Que Lo Chen. You never hear the reporter say "Let's talk to John Smith, chief of research." No, it's always an Asian, an Indian and sometimes a Muslim dude. It's never a white dude and almost never a black dude.
This is why we are doomed if we don't get native born Americans interested in STEM. White and black kids need to stop focusing on business and sports. We need STEM people desperately. We are literally contracting out all the work to foreign people.
If we continue on this path, the Chinese WILL take over the technological world, which means they will dominate the world itself.

There are only 300 million Americans and 4.3 billion Asians. If total up Europe and NA, you are still only at 1.3 billion.

Turns out, you own what you can defend and the natives couldn't defend shite but the anglos could.
I think this is pretty close. I speculate that one reason the west, especially America, grew so fast was a natural tendency towards private property norms. I think that America self-selected for this tendency just based on the type of people that chose to come here and who were subsequently successful settlers. The early settlers who were inclined towards communal property died off or were absorbed by those who valued private property and had simple, efficient systems of private property norms.

That depends on how you define intelligence.
More often than not, they’ll memorize the shite out of stuff but are totally lost when asked to improvise.
Thinking - rather that memorizing - is a huge problem in China. So much so that they will release prisoners who come up with decent ideas/inventions.
