These agencies haven’t failed us, certainly not due to lack of funding. So yes... they are lying.

Why do you try so hard to defend these assholes? It’s still possible to be an honest leftist.

Business Insider is owned by the New York Times. At least it was was 10 years ago. I assume the ownership hasn't changed.

Interesting that those who look for government to solve every need are skeptical of the government's ability to handle the situation.

You must be confused.

Conversely, it is interesting that those who consider the leviathan incapable of quickly, effectively and efficiently doing anything now believe it can be both effective and efficient in a short amount of time.

Correct But any criticism of Trump here is met with immediate derision without any consideration of the facts I'd duck if I were you

Good Lord. Do you always whine this much when you are twisting yourself in knots to find a criticism?

And do you really think the government does more for innovation than the private sector? Perhaps you are so anxious to be a contrarian you don’t think things through.

False premise. I bet there are very very few around here that don’t think the government can spend money quickly.

Ask yourself why on earth someone is actually out there writing stories about how Donald Trump is responsible for the Coronavirus, and you might understand why reasonable people are frustrated.

It certainly doesn’t help to have snotty, petulant little douche bags like you here defending all of these insane criticisms of the president.

The article doesn't blame Trump for coronavirus. The premise is that we aren't prepared for an outbreak because Trump cut funding...which is a speculative, unknown.

I highly doubt a 9% cut in the RATE of funding increase is the difference between being prepared and not

When you have lost as much as Cwill and the other Trump haters have over the last several years, you look at possible pandemics affecting fellow countrymen to save you.

A fair critique of what the article is actually about. Unusual display of reading comprehension on your part.

And we're back to poor reading comprehension...probably more related to an ax to grind...but I will say if you're in the O&G industry 2017 to date has been pretty, pretty bad (though not Trumps doing).

The boarder wall would have really helped if more of it was built.

There are already promising trials about to start on a treatment. Just need to keep it at bay for a few more months.

He probably shouldn't spend so much time claiming he is a genius who can stop virus outbreaks.
