Exactly. And these dipshits will still tout healthcare as a "right." Nothing that relies on other people to provide a service can be considered a fricking right.

What’s Italian for “Take the pain killer, granny!”?

Everything relies on something.

The health system I personally work for, a nonprofit, non socialized system just closed a perfectly good ICU a while back. Why? Because they were losing money on it. Guess who's going to be scrambling like hell to open it back up real soon?
Oh. The. Horror. We need to do away with that.

A finite resource that relies on others to provide a service cannot be considered a right. If it were a real "right" you would not be able to be denied service due to low resources.

The services aren't going to be there in time. Who's going to staff it and where are the supplies going to come from?

It already is a right in this country through EMTALA but you have probably never even heard of that

What are some examples of actual rights then?

gun and ammunitions are finite resources and rely on others to provide service

if we have an outbreak on the relative scale of theirs, we would be in a similar situation. not as bad, but close.
This level of ignorance is frightening.

how so? You think if a U.S. city had 15k confirmed cases and climbing in the span of a couple of weeks they wouldn't feel the strain? I stated it wouldn't be as bad, but it would be felt and it would.

SOCIALIZED MEDICINE IS GREAT GUYS!!!!!!!!

You idiots have no idea how healthcare works.
You think this is special to Italy and "socialized healthcare." What the hell do you think will happen here if it gets bad enough?
Being so blinded by fanatical party waving shite is beyond childish.
You do realize that the USA has 3 X the ICU beds per capita compared to Italy before the hospitals plus up right? The reason why Italy is in such a crappy position is because those idiots believed that the Government could handle healthcare! If you want to see what our system would be like go visit a VA and tell me you want your loved ones treated like that!

First off you are using one of the poorest and unorganized European countries as a basis for failed universal healthcare. I believe a country like Germany with a system that many on the left would like to see would be a better comparison.
