people like HHTM are the problem within the conservative movement.
They are too smarmy and elitist to align themselves with the blue collar, southern republican voters and are too self absorbed to get behind any R primary candidate other than their favorite. They still think the media is somewhat honest and they still naively believe their political opponents will ultimately play fair.
Meanwhile dems will stand hand-in-hand with literally anyone who can help them. They will cast illegal votes in crayon for for a fricking toaster if thats what it takes to get their people in.

Thing is, in order to correct 2020, you're gonna have to remove a lot of people from office. And Trump will finish out this term.
