put out some ambiguous statement
It's only ambiguous if you are some window licker who thinks the president wants to mass murder black people. Sane people know how these riots end; Dallas, BR, etc...

Look. You're going to have to stop being a piece of shite and listen for at least 1 minute if you're going to get this.
Take your own advice.

Let's not pretend that because someone could misinterpret his words that his words were "ambiguous". It's why context is important
The context of the tweet was thugs causing disorder that Trump would fix by sending in the NG to take control.

Lol, just take a look at the initial reactions here last night. Everyone knows exactly what trump was insinuating, even if they are too cowardly to admit it now

quote:Precisely. The context was the chaos was the rioting (of thugs) tarnishing the memory of the deceased and that when looting happens, shooting will likely follow. That's why he said the military is with the governor and, if needed, will assume control of the situation.

In other words, the looting by the thugs could likely escalate to shooting, and if the state can't control it, the military is prepared to intervene.

You’re a dishonest retard.

Yeah, I’d say it was pretty unclear since Headley meant it the other way from what Trump is now saying he meant.
"There is only one way to handle looters and arsonists during a riot and that is to shoot them on sight. I've let the word filter down: When the looting starts the shooting starts,"

This will be a good test of intellectual honesty on here.

Those of us who read the tweet before that quote was released understood what he meant based on the context.

That is absolutely the most charitable reading of the tweet.
Nobody against Trump and lots of undecideds aren't going to be that charitable.
Personally I think that, at best, he was setting a trap by being ambiguous, but that is granting him some 3D chess powers, even though in this case it would be a bad 3D chess move.

Trump's still your president for another 4.5 years

Exactly, it was obvious what Trump was saying

I'd say the majority knew how morons would read it and reacted to that.
As usual, the morons lived up to expectations.

Again, why would you assume that the president of the United States was publically calling for the national guard to move in and start murdering looters? That's an insane conclusion to jump to.
How is that more plausible than potus articulating the fact that these riots ALWAYS lead to gunfire? (Koreans after LA, Dallas, BR, etc... ) and the guard would be sent in to prevent this type of violent escalation?
Turn off CNN and come back rational thought. This is the drinking clorox stupidity all over again.

Trump even clarified what he meant, which means that those who used context got the correct meaning of his words while those who didn't, did not.

why are you laughing? you think black people getting shot during riots is funny you racist shite?
Posted on 5/29/20 at 2:52 pm to HailHailtoMichigan!
I won't even try to gauge Pres Trump's sincerity, but I am glad he clarified and/or followed up on his tweet from yesterday.

This only makes a little bit of sense if you are talking about the broader context in which the tweet took place, ie that it was the POTUS talking, and it would be wild of him to threaten to have the NG shoot people for theft.
If you're only talking about the context within the tweet, you are laughably wrong.
