https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/coronavirus-delta-variant-is-50-percent-more-infectious-israeli-top-official-says-1.10068650

quote:

She added that 50 percent of the current infections are vaccinated individuals. "Previously we thought that fully vaccinated individuals are protected, but we now see that vaccine effectiveness is roughly 40 percent." She noted that while effectiveness remains high for severe disease, Israel is seeing diminished protection, particularly for those who have been vaccinated longer.

Not sure what to believe at this point other than not taking the jab. There continues to be no or limited information on reinfection rates.

This is what I care about. I got friends with pneumonia, on bipap machines, on vents and can’t breathe. All were unvaccinated.

It would seem like we would have to know who has been reinfected to come to some conclusion, unless one doesn't believe there are protections from such an event.

I know a metric frick ton of folks both vaxxed and non vaxxed. None have needed hospital care for Covid. Perhaps the people I associate with are of higher quality than average or just lucky.

Pfizer boosters coming for every new variant that pops up. A therapeutic to keep people from getting severely ill is the ticket out of this cycle.

The only way to herd immunity is for people to get exposed. But we better lockdown to slow that down.

And not one word in the article referring to
reinfection. It’s as though that group of people aren’t even considered...unless of course, they aren’t being reinfected.

I'll never understand people that feel the need to embellish if not out right lie to support their position.

I’m still interested in knowing about those who had Covid, then got vaccinated… I am wondering how they arr affected by new variants.

Good question.

But if we can’t get info on reinfection rates for those that had Covid, then I don’t see your question, which has more depth, EVER being answered.

When the average immune system is 99+% effective, how good can a "vaccine" really be?

Plus a good portion if not a majority of the population already being infected at a prior date.

These people are evil.

I have personally known more people who had crippling adverse reactions to the Pfizer vaccine than I have known folks hospitalized

SO works in health care. She's witnessed enough to persuade me to end my holdout just for that reason.
