Surely this has to be fake news, right?

Ally or not.. I see this as a strategic move by both us and Israel... it continues to remove Israel from the Iran issue and make it more of an Arab issue...
Agree or disagree thats what I see here...

There is certainly alot of smoke that we are completely trying to seperate israel from iran issue. Probably to remove the onus on the Lebanon part of negotiations.

Um....Ben Gurion is a primarily a CIVILIAN airport.
Israel maintains more than 10 active military airbases that are completely separate from Ben Gurion Airport that the US military can use.

But precedent has already been set.

Around 30 American refuelling aircraft are already parked at the airport.

Maybe they don't want their civillian airport to be a target if we have a bunch of aircraft there. Just throwing that out there. But I think it could be a host of things or reasons why .

Did you look into this at all before posting?
Took literally 1 second to click on Grok to see that this was part of an agreement with the US and Israel to free up space for commercial flights. Be better.
Israel’s Transport Minister Miri Regev directed the Israel Airports Authority to block additional U.S. KC-135 refueling aircraft from landing at Ben Gurion, capping numbers around 20 amid renewed Iran tensions.
• This follows June 2026 agreements to relocate dozens of U.S. military planes from the civilian airport to free space for summer commercial flights, after U.S. forces began returning some tankers.
• The move prioritizes preventing potential cancellation of up to 50,000 July passenger tickets while sparking disputes between Israel’s Transport and Defense ministries over logistics.??????????????????????????????????????????????????

OP is a poser. Looking for clicks and pushing a narrative that doesn't reflect reality/truth.
