A 19-year-old man from Washington State has been arrested for allegedly raping a female acquaintance as she was dying from an opioid overdose, bragging about what happened to friends and then stuffing her body into a bin to go to work.
Brian Roberto Varela, of Lynwood, was taken into custody on Tuesday on suspicion of manslaughter, homicide by controlled substance and second-degree rape in the death of 18-year-old Alyssa Mae Noceda.
According to a graphic police report filed in court and obtained by DailyMail,com, on Saturday night, Noceda, a student at Mariner High School, had gone to a party in a mobile home park in Lynwood, where she met Varela.
Noceda, who had recently split from her boyfriend, followed Varela to his bedroom, where she snorted a long line of the prescription painkiller Percocet and passed out after Varela offered her a 'dab' of liquid THC, as the suspect and other witnesses told police.
Instead of calling for help, or taking Noceda to the hospital, Varela allegedly raped her. He later told his friends that he did not know 'if she was alive when he ejaculated into her,' according to the report, also seen by KIRO7.

Just when you think humans can't get any more inhuman, a new story like this emerges. At one time, even low life criminals showed some remorse for crimes. Today, they brag about and revel in it.
I blame the cheapening of life by things like abortion, pornography and our lackadaisical view of sex for things like this.

man i don't know if the data backs you up
teen pregnancy and abortion rates are still way low
young kids also, according to data, are not nearly as sexual as in the past (which would back up the decreases above)

Its more our societal acceptance of abortion and our cheapening of sex because of things like porn.

I can't say I agree with the drugs part. I've known of several people that have OD'd and not one was left to die or taken advantage of. I'm a firm believer that drugs only bring out a person's true nature. Bad people do bad things. Good people aren't going to do bad things just because they're on drugs. They may do stupid things, but raping someone while they are dying is not something that's just stupid, it's flat out evil.
As another poster mentioned, I think there is blame to be placed on the people who excuse criminal behavior because of the situation. There was a lady (loose definition) on CNN excusing the 4 ghetto rats that abducted and tortured a mentally challenged white guy because they were black and Trump was elected. We have judges releasing criminals because the punishment would hurt their feelings or "not be in their interest.".
Certain parts of society are teaching people that they don't have to be responsible for their actions, making excuses for them, and teaching them that it is society's fault if anything ever doesn't go their way. These people are far more responsible for the actions of people like this WA pos than any drug or porn. There are millions of people that have done drugs and watched porn that would never even consider doing something so abhorrent.
