quote:

A socialist upheaval is sweeping through the Democratic Party. It is driven by a toxic mix of laziness, arrogance, and bubble mentality — making the brand toxic. It’s well known: NBC News last winter revealed that Immigration and Customs Enforcement was more popular than Democrats. When the brand is weak and a new, energetic faction emerges, unexpected things can happen. For Democrats, it’s becoming a rising, vigorous insurgency of socialists who now pose a nationwide challenge. The establishment will have to spend large amounts of money, which they lack, to defend more electable candidates — those without Nazi tattoos, who are not antisemitic, who do not call for abolishing police and prisons, and who understand that money isn’t printed on trees. Oh, and those who don’t think we deserved the 9/11 attacks. What caused this red wave, one that’s awash with hammers and sickles?

So, they are turning to socialism because they come from rich families and now realize they did everything wrong and will never enjoy the wealth they grew up with.

A story as old as time itself. Marx was the very same.

The New Left Maoists who rioted at the Chicago dem convention in 1968 have inherited the party and they raised a new generation of leftists that are even crazier.

George Carlin was a national treasure, under appreciated at the time the value and truth to his stand-up comedy.

lol.

I've got a couple of DV pets that follow me around everywhere. I'm certain the DV is not for Carlin, he was a prophet, way ahead of his time. Everyone loves him.

There are a total of three people in Congress who seem to understand that money doesn't grow on trees. Their names are Tim Burchett, Anna Paulina Luna and Brandon Gill. There are ZERO in the Senate.

its bigger than just that. Humans are very predictable, which is why the repeatedly failed Marxist experiment continues to pollute people's minds.

The average person will blame others for their problems before they blame themselves. The average person will more likely be jealous of those with more resources than them rather than strive for similar success. The average person wants to hear that their perversions and mental illnesses are normal, and the fault lies with their critics for being bigoted.

The dumber, lazier, and more dependent the electorate gets... the more the hateful rhetoric of leftism crystallizes... the easier it is to get a Marxist elected. And when the Marxism inevitably fails, like every other case in human history, the blame is hung around the neck of the capitalist.

Back in the day, I had the great fortune of sitting next to him on a flight from LA back to Atlanta. Man, what a down to earth man he was.

The economy hasn’t been good since Covid and really never fully recovered from the 2007-2008 crisis because since then, the government and central banks have subsidized malinvestment rather than let the market clear. Inflation continues to persist and the affordability crisis is real. People will turn to anything that seems different and radical when the status quo isn’t working. I wouldn’t be laughing, I’d be trying to root it out before it spreads more.
