People don't question the facts because we can't accept a nobody killing a president. Just the opposite, we question the facts because Oswald had SO MANY connections to various people where he was anything but some nondescript nobody.
If the killer had been some factory worker without connections few would have grasped at straws as claimed.

Why would anybody need a link to show something that wasn't there with the Vegas shooter.

That type of reason doesn't work with conspiracy theorists.
Try getting a conspiracy theorist to address the timeline of Jack Ruby on the day he shot Oswald. That information alone points monumentally to NO conspiracy (at least, involving Ruby). But the indisputable facts on Ruby that morning are either ignored or disputed.
