Well it's a well-known fact, sonny-jim, that there's a secret society of the 5 wealthiest people in the world, known as The Pentavirate, who run everything in the world including the newspapers, and meet tri-annually in a secret country mansion in Colorado known as The Meadows.

(So who's in this Pentavirate?) The Queen, the Vatican, the Gettys, the Rothschilds...and Colonel Sanders before he went tits up! Ooh I hated the Colonel, with his wee beady eyes and that smug look on his face! Ohh you're gonna buy my chicken! Ooh! (Dad, how can you hate the Colonel?) Because he puts an addictive chemical in his chicken that makes you crave it fortnightly, smart arse!

While the other institutions mentioned in this thread are examples, nothing can match unions with regard to corruption.

quote:

Pearson, who succeeded Jones as head of a 17-state region stretching from Missouri to California, was arrested Thursday in Missouri and faces six charges ranging from embezzlement of union money to money laundering. Agents seized $30,000 from Jones' home during nationwide raids last month of UAW-affiliated individuals, according to the Pearson complaint referencing Jones as "UAW Official A."

An the UAW members will continue to donate and follow like sheep, because they basically don't give a shite.

UAW is corrupt

The UAW has a lot of lawsuits going on. I'm wondering if this strike is an attempt to overshadow that fact.

Seems it could backfire.

DETROIT (Reuters) - Former United Auto Workers official Michael Grimes pleaded guilty Wednesday to wire fraud and money laundering as part of an ongoing FBI corruption probe that could hamper upcoming contract talks with the Detroit-based automakers.

Grimes was charged with soliciting hundreds of thousands of dollars in kickbacks from vendors supplying watches and jackets to union members, including a General Motors-funded non-profit training center jointly run with the UAW.
