4 years ago they had the liberals on their knees screaming, they had the extreme left wing pissed at the middle of the Democrat party. They had control of every last thing and because they hated Trump they pissed that good will away.

Trump provided the best economy ever and they managed to turn on him and his hard core base of 20 or so million Americans. They even had a nice path going into minority areas while the dems pampered to fricking trannies but Mitch just had to to blow it.

The Jacksonville Jaguars? Though it's a tossup, admittedly.

I changed my party affiliation yesterday for the first time in my life for the reasons you just mentioned.

The dems get to be the winners more than the republicans. They clearly aren’t as big of losers

36 years ago, a Republican carried every state except Minnesota and the District of Columbia.

California? Oregon? Washington? Massachusetts? Vermont? Maine? New York? New Jersey? ALL of them went for Reagan. Not 100. Not 50. Not 40. 36 years ago.

26 years ago, they scored the biggest wave election victory in Congress, ever. With a Dem in the WH they simply could not lay a glove on.

:letthatsinkin:

Now look at them.

First you have to admit to yourself the Republican Party is not who or what you assumed they were and then you will understand that the Republican Party did not fail. They got what they wanted and that was Trump out of office.

The Jags just hired Urban Meyer, are about to draft Trevor Lawrence, have a treasure trove of high draft picks and $100M in cap space. There's a path for them to get really, really good within two years.

The GOP is doomed maybe for the rest of my life once DC and PR are granted statehood.

But they also lost the Senate. Huge fail there!

The media for giving a deranged man a megaphone. They knew Trump was a liar, everyone in New York has known what he was, a spoiled kid who inherited everything by conning his own father.

But yet they gave him a platform....

Wait until this coalition on the left blows up, it will be highly entertaining.

No they didn't. They will share leadership in the Senate. It was part of the plan.

Democrats swept the election because of mail-in voting, which was a direct result of the Covid pandemic. Blaming that on the GOP is as stupid as blaming Covid deaths on Trump.

Yes there is a bigger failure than our party and his name is Trump. He botched last year. No matter how many of us voted for him, if he restrains himself from needing the praise for the virus response, and he defers all of that to Pence, and he just aligns with the scientists on his own task force.....we win. The dems wouldn’t have had anything to attack him with if he just deferred to his appointed task force people and aligned with their messaging on mask wearing. That was the entire campaign against him and ultimately why he lost.

the GOP are controlled opposition. They are there to represent conservatives, but not push conservativism. They are strictly there to lose to the democrats and wail and whine as if they actually care, but the truth is, it’s all for show. They know they’re losing, but their role is to put on a Paul Ryan sad face and claim to be principled conservatives as democrats frick them over and over again.

Only a fool at this point can’t see this....

Patriot party is sitting by, with a beer in hand... just waiting for someone to hold it.
