I have to disagree with. The reason it seems crazy to you and others is because your not looking at the plight of Blue states vs Red States.
Blue states overall have larger collegiate populations and urban landscape. Issues like collegiate debt are more impactful to them. Other problems like medicare for all are still strong there despite this boards belief in the contrary.
They have a different set of issues than what Republicans face. Thats why it seems 'crazy' to you.

They control 90% of the traditional media outlets, and are silencing more and more of the alternative forms every day. It's becoming borderline criminal to have a conservative viewpoint.

The party is going too far to the left. LGBTQ politics has taken over, and then the immigrant debate. Some want full on open borders which should scare any working man.
I don't get it. They can't pay for what they promise, there are no real plans. The ones who are the most level headed have no chance.
Mayor Pete and Biden look to be front runners, but BOTH have major issues that will kneecap them. One being gay and the other touchy. Warren is a little crazy and Kamala Harris is a veep at best.

I don't think Pelosi was ever a "true believer" like Sanders/the DSA people. She just said and did what she had to say to gain personal power and wealth...and having done that, she's resisting the resistances desire to take that away.
