In January, Harris and other Senate Democrats demonstrated shocking anti-Catholic bigotry in the confirmation hearings of Judge Brian Buescher. They used his membership in the charity Knights of Columbus — a Catholic fraternal service order — as a reason he was unqualified to be a federal judge. The beliefs of the Knights of Columbus align directly with the positions of the Catholic Church.

With Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii), Harris questioned whether membership in a group with Catholic theology as a basis for ideals would prevent him from being an objective and good judge. Hirono asked if he would be willing to leave the Knights of Columbus should he become a federal judge, in order to distance himself from their “extreme positions.” Those extreme positions are the same that guide the Catholic Church, in which more than 1 in 5 Americans are members.

Harris dug into the beliefs of the Knights, asking, “Were you aware that the Knights of Columbus opposed a woman’s right to choose when you joined the organization?” Her insinuation that membership in an organization that is pro-life should be relevant to whether one could be an effective judge is absurd. She further expressed distaste for the group’s disagreement with same-sex marriage, again a belief of the Catholic Church.

Trump helped the Republicans finally win Catholics in 2016. Look for him to expand that margin in 2020.

There's a lot more than that. She's questioning the fitness of pro life people to serve on the bench

I’m anti-catholic in my theological views but I don’t consider a member of the Church of Rome disqualified from civil service.

Harris seems to be more anti-Christian than anything else, which is par for the course these days with leftists. They used to give lip service to Christianity but now they are emboldened by the waning influence of the Truth in the west and are happy to attack Christians as they see fit.

But still zero criticism of Muslims. Are they going to say the same shite to Omar or Tliab? Didn't think so.

The Catholic vote has swung back and forth, usually they end up a deciding factor in the presidential race and no one talks about it. Catholics went R in 80, 84, 88, 04, and 16.

they do decide the winner a lot of times. Those splits are exit poll related which are likely more reliable than the Gallup polls or "studies".

Cumala is not anti-Catholic...

She's anti-every traditional Judaeo-Christian value out society has been built on.

Devout Catholics are just, generally, the most outspoken, easily defined representatives of those values.

Whenever you have a pro-worker (mining, manufacturing, small business) candidate who is also somewhat (sadly not the primary factor) pro-life, Catholics will usually vote for that candidate. There is a reason Trump won them.

Catholics have never been on the Libertarian side of Economics and Trump really is the type that Catholics will vote for on the Right.
