Clarence Thomas is the most important member of that group and this is a time where this country cannot needs as much conservative value as possible. We cannot afford to lose him.

My problem is with the backfires, like Honorable John Roberts, who had all these notable conservative credentials .After being appointed he turned out not to be as conservative as we had hoped. Seems the Republicans are not always great at judging who is truly a conservative Constitutionalist judge. We can not afford a error of judgement of this magnitude again,

Nope. Justices Thomas and Alito are both sharp as a tack and both want to continue serving. Both men are American treasures. There is practically no chance either can be replaced with somebody that are equally capable in terms of their conservative positions.

Any of the others is a different conversation.

Thomas is 78 and has had health issues. Alito is 75. Should we learn a lesson from RBG and have then step down and be replaced before the mid terms?

Dont forget the diabeetus queen that is named Sotomayor.

As great as it would be to replace 2 older conservatives with 2 young conservatives, replacing that heifer would nullify Roberts ability to scuttle important cases.
