Call me old fashioned but I find it rude and inappropriate in a SOTU joint session. But of course the SOTU itself has become more political theater too, so…

He talked more about junk fees, whateverthefrick that is, than he did the millions of illegals pouring over the border.

Yeah, the Democrats weren’t respectful of Trump either. Honestly, Marjorie Taylor Green, who most on both sides consider a complete joke, acted accordingly, so I don’t know why people are up in arms about her expected behavior. And Biden flipped it on her, so she was really just sitting there with egg on her face.

Is it normal to be heckled in a state of the union?
As far as I'm aware, it's the first time a POTUS was spontaneously laughed at for overt stupidity during a SOTU

When someone is flat out lying to your face, you need to respond.

I need to go back and read some of the old heckling and insults from the founding fathers. Some of it’s gold.

His ability to outright lie makes George Santos look amateurish. And his followers are just as guilty of lying as he is to accept his falsehoods without any pushback.
F--k Joe Biden!

Only a racist would heckle Biden

Prior to Television, and one party rule during the early 20th century it was historically very raucous. There were fights often on the Chamber floor. This decorum that many have adopted didn't exist before, and although it may look good on TV, it could be considered a disservice to the people of America. In a Television/Social Media world, where the lasting comment is the last one, an outburst will "make some noise", "go viral", etc. etc. No need to hold back when the Media controls the narrative.

And i guess people just want to gloss over trumps entire presidency.
