Smart move is to release the memo. Let the press get all of their talking points out. Get them committed to it being fabricated....then release the supporting documentation completely destroying the narrative. It is what will happen. The Dems and the press will fall for it again. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Salmon - I think the evidence behind that memo may change your worldview. You may still believe in social safety nets, globally shared values, and trust in government.
The memo itself will not be more than a candle in the wind to the narrative but it’s flame will burn dim and long over the Democratic Party that claims to support those visions .
The underlying documents, may or may not see daylight, but are the true smoking gun.

The FISA requests are the supporting documentation. I believe a summation of the irregular requests during the election/transition is what the memo details. I don't know if we'll get copies of the FISA warrants but I imagine if they never existed then we wouldn't have made it this far.

Much like the Steele Dossier, the contents of this document will need to investigated and proven by an unlimited independent counsel that has independent authority to dig into every crevice for an indeterminate period of time. Seems like that's how it is.

Couldn’t agree more about due process - but if said due process was carried out by your congressman with you never seeing or hearing of the underlying documents would you take his word on it?

The fact that neither Wray nor any of the democrats on the HIC who've seen the memo have come out and accused it of being fake news is enough proof for me that everything in the memo is true.
