world war with whom

it would be the b squad and by world war, it would be a war in the middle east

the superpowers would either actively collude together to divvy up the pie or they would back sides financially and with weaponry and supplies if doing so was in their interest

Oppenheimer was the angel of peace, even if he didn't realize it.

I hope so. A war with millions dead would be tragic, but it would at least get rid of some of the idiots who are currently allowed to walk this earth freely and without consequence.
It would also be great for the economy.

To answer OP: No. Another world war is not inevitable.

I was telling my dad this today at lunch. I want a world war to break out between Europe and Russia and then China be involved somehow so we can be the only industrialized nation like in the 50s and make $$$$$

I think these countries have been plotting for some time. Unfortunately for them, if it did come to a WW, those countries (collectively) would get crushed. Way too many "good guys" with immense militaries.

The US, Canada, and western Europe collectively wouldn't have any trouble if they took the gloves off and said "frick it"

It's getting time to thin out the world population again.

We made way more than $$$$$. It was more like $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

We've been pissing money away the last few decades and still haven't run out of it.

Sounds like a regional war, not a world war.

Re the obvious power down the road, China, they don't have the capacity to wage war and we're economic yin and yang with them.

We'll never see an Axis vs. Allies esque war ever again. There's just a few miscreant third world little shits wanting to stir the pot.

Right. A world war would mean an all-out war between world powers. It would mean the end of the world.

All the major players know they don't want to face each other but the leaders of some of these countries (China, Russia) are better at playing chicken than others.

I see some of these countries really pushing it close by invading neighbors and redrawing borders and the powers with the ability to stop them, won't want to use force for few of what it would mean. This will happen over the next 20 years+.

That's a really interesting and thought provoking statement, Fox. No BS.
