If the regime has learned anything from this conflict, it’s that they must get a nuclear weapon. Trump needed to go all in on this campaign or he should never should have launched it.

The Iranians have now confirmed that they have a strategic card in their ability to shut down the strait, and mark my words, they will proceed to covertly build nuclear weapons.

You think Iran just now figured out that a narrow waterway that comprises a significant portion of the World’s oil transports exists on their coastline and that they should try to build a nuclear weapon? You do realize highly enriched uranium only exists for the sole purpose of nuclear weapons? We have a real foreign policy think tank here!!

Getting a nuke should be their national priority one. Only way to keep us out of their business.

Trying to tell who? Not me. I never wanted us to go into this thing from the jump.

Flat out, the Iranians will end up in a better strategic position than they were in before the conflict. That’s not twisting. That’s not negative. That’s a fact. They will have fewer sanctions, and they are emboldened.

Did the Iranian regime survive with potentially more power than they had before? Yes. Is it likely that the removal of stations will make them a stronger country in 20 years than they are now? Yes.

The military infrastructure has been absolutely devastated over the past two months, but they will be stronger long-term.

Of course they will.

Why wouldn’t they? It’s Iran.

If you believe this is in the best interests of the Islamic Regime would it therefore be in the best interests of the US to topple the Islamic Regime?

Trump is trying to get back to a domestic agenda for the next few months. Come January hell will rain down.

Serious question. Do you blame them? From their perspective it's the absolute correct path.

Iranian leadership are not religious purists like so many here believe. Or crazy. They are corrupt power hungry politicians seeking to dominate their population and grow their power, control and wealth.

Pipelines are about to be built.

Are you really trying to spin this as a failure?

You really think Iran is coming out of this with more power?

Oh I see you used the word “potentially”.

What is wrong with you?

Obama paid them to secretly build them underground. Not a word was said. Obamas deal was called superb and nuanced.

You're failing to consider that that user is a domestic terrorist who wants the US to fail and for our adversaries to develop nukes to use against us.

Give me an example of a regime toppling in the ME that benefitted us or the people that lived there. I’ll hang up and listen.
