So now this is a problem, but $188 billion to Ukraine was fine?

We give the Taliban tens of millions every month and they send that money directly to Al Qaeda and affiliated groups that do all those things.

We’re going to have to shut down two leaning centers in Minnesota in order to afford this word.

No its not. The lessons of vietnam took us almost 30 years to unlearn. The lessons of Iraq and Afghanistan didn't even take fricking 10 years to forget.

For those conflating Ukraine War costs with the Iran War (no mission goal or end game), one dumb mistake and boondoggle has nothing to do with the other big dumb mistake. Both are massive wastes of money, blood, lives and resources. For ALL sides.

We are literally financing DEATH. Not "Liberty". And importantly, in neither case is the USA "defending" America.

That said (Ukraine War aid only as of 12/31/24)

UPDATE:

The US has committed the largest amount of aid to Ukraine, providing $134 billion between January 24, 2022 and June 30, 2025, of which:

Military aid – $75 billion
Financial aid – $54 billion

TOTAL: $129 billion (doesn't include Ukraine War aid commitment from July 1 2025 through 2026)

War has always been part of the American identity

Whether it’s the Spanish, British, Canadians, Haitians, Indians, Germans, Vietnamese, Koreans or goat frickers

Money well spent getting rid of the savages in Iran. $11B isn’t even a rounding error in the budget, your faux outrage is unwarranted

Not close to analogous to spending billions on BS wars.

Whose military action upon US soil are we "defending" by the war in Iran or in Ukraine?
