They don’t have a massive fleet of combat aircraft. The very few they have are not even remotely in the realm of competition with those we and Israel have flying over Iran as well.

I don’t have an issue believing they got it into the air. I don’t believe however it would’ve been able to make its flight time to the target and launch its payload without long before being detected and dispatched

Eh. I wouldn't be so sure. He isn't just some random journalist.

Right. If they made it that far, they won't make it back home.

There is ZERO chance intelligence didn’t know which hangar they were located in. One of the first bombs dropped parted them out as scrap.

possible that we don’t have total air dominance

No. Theres no way they could get two fighters to Iraq, much less there and back, right now.

SU35 is a good plane (on paper) but its a big arse bird and unless they flew it there 100 feet off the deck wide arse open with some mythical infinite range fuel, this didnt happen.

We have total air dominance from Tehran westward. Not striking east of there yet.

Except for all of the drone strikes in Iraq apparently. Something like 23 of them reported so far.

Also south of Tehran I would have said.

Doesn't air dominance mean we fly freely, nothing about there ability to launch or take off? Question

Right. I misunderstood what you were trying to say.

Yes, they're getting stuff off the ground apparently.

I imagine we have e-3 airborne 24/7. I doubt this is true.

They could fly 50 feet off the deck and evade detection in theory.
