Israel has voiced concerns about nuclear proliferation in the Middle East. As a point of established fact, Israel is the only nuclear power in the region.
The United States of America treats Israel as though they are the 51st state in the Union. Israel no more needs nuclear weapons than any of its neighbors, yet Israel has zero interest in decreasing nuclear tensions in the region. Israel won't even engage in non-proliferation talks.
Israel has become as big of a global problem in the Middle East as their neighbors, yet this Government has zero expectations of them and American conservatives hold them accountable for nothing.
Ok I suppose.

Al Qaeda was formed in 1988 at Bin Laden's house in Peshawar, Pakistan. One of his mentors, Abdullah Yusuf Azzam, was almost certainly a CIA asset of some kind and was also one of Al Qaeda's founders. The guy was given complete latitude to come here and fundraise for jihad in Afghanistan in the 1980's, despite being a known Jordanian-Palestinian terrorist.

The US armed the Mujahideen with stinger missiles to bring down Soviet air power. Osama bin Laden had Azzam killed in a car bomb to take over Al Qaeda. Your assertion that he was somehow being funded by the CIA after the Soviet War to form Al Qaeda is complete nonsense. Bin Laden was the financier not the US government.

I never made that assertion and you know it. Read my post. Azzam died in 1989, but he was most certainly an asset in the 1980's during the War. And while we didn't form Al Qaeda, do you not think our government had a hand in increasing their stature in the Muslim world?
