If the Iranians are not building weapons facilities though, they have excellent diplomatic options. E.g., They could propose inspection of Iranian sites with the caveat of coincident Israeli site inspections. Israel would refuse. The refusal would diplomatically isolate Israel.
Trust but verify.

According to Scott Ritter Iran currently has enough enriched Uranium (60% U-235) to make five or 6 Little Boys. The type of nuclear bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima. Little Boy used a gun-type fuse to start the uranium-235 fission reaction. It works by firing one sub-critical mass of uranium into another to achieve a critical mass, triggering a nuclear chain reaction.
Apparently Iran has the centrifuges to enrich uranium from 60% to 90% plus to create Little Boy type nuclear bombs and this final step does not take long.

These are two completely different countries and circumstances surrounding them, and Iraq never had nuclear weapons as Israel had already took out their facility 10 years prior to the first Gulf War in 1981 for the exact same reason it is taking out Iran’s at present, because it represents a very real threat to their mere existence on planet earth.
