Wow! Damn Trump just took out the top leadership positions for Hezbollah in both Iraq and Lebanon.

List of the 8 Senior PMU Officials Killed in the 2 Hellcat airstrikes:

Mohammad Ridha Al-Jabri (PMU's Chief Protocol Officer & mastermind of the Baghdad Embassy attack)
Mohammad Reza Kazim (Head of Hasan Resistance)
Hasan Abdul Hadi
Mohammad Al-Shaybani
Muhammad Kawtharani (The Hezbollah's Head of Iraq Activities and chief fundraiser) US Treasury on Kawtharani

If Soleimani was killed, that would be the biggest trigger for war with Iran ever. I'm sure you all recognize this guy:

Qasem Soleimani (born 11 March 1957) is an Iranian Major general in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and since 1998 commander of its Quds Force—a division primarily responsible for extraterritorial military and clandestine operations.

Yup. MiTT team. I lived with the Iraqi BN HQed at Martyr Monument. Part of the force to try and choke off Sadr City from getting more rockets.

Oh shite, if this is true it's about to go down.

@BaxtiyarGoran)
#BREAKING: Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, Deputy Commander of Hashd al-Shaabi and Qassem Solaimi Commander of IRGC killed in Baghdad -- Hezbollah’s Mayadeen says.

quote:

Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, is an Iraqi-Iranian military commander who heads the Popular Mobilisation Committee (Al-Hashd Al-Sha'abi), which is active against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant militant group. The organisations he oversees are reported to have close connections to the Quds Force, part of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

He is the commander of the Kata'ib Hezbollah militia, and prior to that worked with the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps against the Saddam Hussein regime.[1]

Allegations of terrorism have been levelled against him[2] over his activities in Kuwait in the 1980s.[3] He was sentenced to death in absentia by a court in Kuwait for his involvement in 1983 Kuwait bombings.[4] Muhandis is on the United States' list of designated terrorists.[5]

Can you provide a link? This is huge if true, and a possible trigger to WW3.

I wonder if this was why we've been seeing a massive airlift operation the last two days?

it's going to get ugly. Iran was pushing harder into Iraq because the Israelis were successful in pushing back against them in Syria, this should put a stop to it for a minute. however, what iran does in retaliation could be bad

Steve Lookner @lookner Report from a BBC correspondent that Qasem Soleimani, head of Iran's Quds force, was in the convoy that was attacked. Have seen other unconfirmed reports of this as well. This would be absolutely gigantic in importance if true.
