I would much rather be on better terms with Russia, and this would be a good sign, IMO.
Russia is a conservative power, and they want stability in the region. Fighting makes their life difficult.
They’ll try and stay out, but this isn’t good for their interests.
One example, what do they do if their nominal allies in Syria threaten US forces?
Russian forces are embedded in SAA formations and work out of a number of shared bases. They risk losing the gains they’ve made in Syria, defeating the jihadists and restoring Syria’s territorial integrity, and then getting in the middle of a fight they have no interest in.

Probably nothing, I'm sure he has to work sick call tomorrow morning. 1BCT is a combat unit, they fight when called upon. Stryker Brigades are designed to get into the fight quickly. That being said, I don't think there is going to be a large influx of US troops into the region, so he will probably deploy eventually, but you will know well ahead of time.
He sings this every morning before PT
