Interesting abortion statistics

I was watching a podcast of a black conservative guy. He was throwing out very interesting numbers. Abortion became legal in 1972. Roughly 40% of all abortions since then occurred on black women. (Not to mention white women impregnated by black men). He said black people would be roughly 37% of the US population now if not for abortions. They are just 13% of the population now and they've virtually remained at that same number for a while.
Had abortions not been legalized, I bet George Bush Sr. Would have been the last Republican president considering blacks vote at a 90% clip for Democrats.

Which black conservative guy? You subscribed to it, why don't you know his name? Was it Marlon, or was it the Genius of Thomas Sowell podcast?
Then we know whether we need to talk to you in Southern vernacular, or a vernacular of someone that has read a few books.

We've imported nearly 800k Indians into TEXAS alone since 2015, that donate 95/5 (D). And you're worried about black people, when (R) is winning elections by tens of thousands in statewide races. Funny.

He showed up on my X algorithm. I wish I could go back and find it. He was a big black guy with dreads. He was approaching liberal white women about their abortion beliefs. He was calling them out big time. "So, dead black babies is a good thing, huh"? Their reactions were priceless. A few got combative with him.

I just sorta' became pro-choice. They NEVER need to be higher than 13% of the population... or this country is completely fricked. We'll 100% be modern day South Africa.

Up until 2018 when abortion was outlawed, the abortion clinic in Tuscaloosa was the busiest abortion clinic in the state of Alabama. Lots of UA students and Mississippi residents filled the waiting room there.

And as we all know, abortion is still legal in Blue states. He was showing graphs that the number is still at the 40% range in those states. (Excluding Maryland and California. They don't keep abortion statistics).

My Dad had an office near an abortion doctor in the mid 80s. Never saw a black woman go in, but saw plenty of white women in expensive cars show up and more than a few taking their teenage daughters as well.

Yes. New York legalized it in 1970. Abortion rates immediately went out of control (in 1972 54% of pregnancies in NY ended in abortion) so the NYS legislature voted that year to repeal legalization. Good ‘ol Nelson Rockefeller vetoed the repeal.
I believe Washington State legalized it via referendum in 1970 as well—they have always been raging leftists.
That great conservative Ronald Reagan signed a bill in 1967 to legalize abortion in California for “heath reasons” which was immediately interpreted to include “mental health” which we all know is a pretext for abortion on demand.
Conversely, Michigan had a referendum to legalize abortion in 1972 and 60% of voters said “NO” to legalization.
Those were really some of the only fair democratic examples pre Roe which was January 22 1973.
By 1978 we had 30% of pregnancies in this country end in abortion. Does anyone old enough remember how pervasive it was back then? I may start a thread asking about thats

We can only assume the abortion clinic you speak of was not in the ghetto part of town.
