Well going anecdote for anecdote, my shopping has been noticeably cheaper on most items. Most things I buy regularly have either stayed put or gone down slightly.
Like what?

Why do people make things like this up? Did yours spend 7 less dollars last month and that was somehow "noticable?"
Groceries at Walmart here in Baton Rouge are noticeably cheaper than several weeks ago. Specifically the one on Highland and the one on College.

That saying higher than expected doesn't mean its higher than it was a year ago.
Truflation is saying 2.42% for peak feburary.
That is saying 2.8%.
These figures arent wildly off for February.
CPI will release march numbers on 4/10.
You are welcome to check their data and explain to all of us why you are right and they are wrong.

So I should instead trust a random dude on twitter?
It's not a random dude. All it would take is for you to run a search on Truflation that has been 99.94% accurate.
here is your link

What on earth is truflation?
It is something similar to GDPnow in which they look at each economic report and update predicted inflation based on those numbers.
The website says "We utilize modern consumer and spending data sets along with cutting-edge technology to deliver the world’s only verifiable daily inflation indexes. "

Inflation is not catering.
Trumps tariff plan won’t work because it’s to long term focused, and will just be scrapped by the next administration

Where do they live? California?
And, you are now trusting some rando poster on an anonymous board saying his electric bill was higher?
But you have serious problems with truflation?
Buddy, you aren't helping your cause here.
It seems like you have TDS.

I noticed prices have gone down at the grocery store. A lot of things are much more affordable now than they were 3 months ago.
It’s not a lie if you believe it I guess?

Let me guess.. they live in some yankee state like Missouri or something.
I know for a fact those of us living in the great states of Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi are enjoying our lower energy prices immensely. I’m sure it’s similar across the south.

Dairy, eggs, sugar, gas, and beef, hasn’t changed. Gas is higher than it’s been in 6 months.
Check your Walmart App eggs are still around $5. Last month 60 eggs were $23 something and now they are $24.12.
