They didn’t domesticate animals nor did they do much with the wheel, but they did do crazy mound building. And in the southwest there were some pretty decent stone work.

Probably just as it was. Just social tribes with stoneage technology. Fighting and killing anything that tried to come into their territory. Nothing wrong with that.

Native Americans from the northern half of the country seem way more bitter about the past than the southeastern tribes.

Fun fact that was very easy to miss/overlook: of all voting demographics in 2024, Native Americans were the heaviest in favor of Trump (something like 65%). They have a lot of problems with alcohol, welfare dependence, motivation, etc, but they're not a significant enough population to get upset about. Worry about the dots, not the feathers.
