Why’s did he wait so long to do it? Contractors have been sending out those same letters to their employees for over two weeks now. But just because of the fact that it is Alabama and Auburn that are now affected, he decides to act? Time is running out on this, and the lack of urgency is total BS IMO. The timeline is not 12/8, the timeline for the first shot of Moderna is 10/27, Pfizer is 11/3, and J&J is 11/24.

There is already a law on the books exempting students from vax mandates, but we see how much good it's doing.

I am going to email Marshall this morning explaining to him that the timeline is much more dire than 12/8. That he needs to file for an immediate injunction or temporary restraining order or whatever to halt to mandate while the merits of the case is played out in the courts just like the Arizona AG did on Friday. The problem that the AZ AG is facing is that he has to file in the 9th circuit, but Marshall should (and I want to emphasize "should") have a much more favorable court circuit.
But every Alabamian on this board needs to send him an email requesting the same thing. The deadline to be fully vaccinated by 12/8 means you would have to have your last shot 2 weeks prior to that date to be considered fully vaccinated, not on that date.
But I damn sure emailing his arse this morning, not that I expect it to motivated him any more. But if he gets flooded with emails, then maybe he will.

At the very least, a stay should be extended until this case and others by states is settled. A lot of federal contractors are facing termination within a month.

I can’t think of an issue more critical than masses of families being without breadwinners.

I already sent my this morning through the website, and by email to: ConstituentAffairs@alabamaag.gov
I made sure to tell him that the 12/8 deadline he stated would be too late for most people, and that an immediate stay was needed so that people weren't pushed up against the 1st shot deadlines. I also mentioned that the AZ AG was doing that, and they he needed to do the same.
But I bet he personally won't even read either of my submissions.
