I’d say that most people think they are “healthy” but really aren’t.

Well right off the bat anyone obese should be counted as unhealthy.

The vast majority of obese people have convinced themselves hey are healthy, and the media is complicit in that now.

I'm sure that's very comforting to the 145 healthy people that died drowning in their own fluids...

Did I offend yo? Obesity is an underlying condition. America is obese and it’s a problem.

This association is VERY important to understanding who is at risk and how this spreads. Dr. Birx has explained this several times.

You are correct EZE, its due to confusing permutations with actual combinations, very common and the reason casinos make billions.

People are always asking how many of those that died had other health issues. There is your data in the biggest hot spot in the country. It's very rare that a healthy person will die from Covid19.

Very rare is not 145 out of 672. That’s over 20%

Underlying illnesses include Diabetes, Lung Disease, Cancer, Immunodeficiency, Heart Disease, Hypertension, Asthma, Kidney Disease, and GI/Liver Disease.

What percentage of Americans have or have suffered from at least one of these maladies?
9.4% of adults have or had cancer
10.5% diabetes
29% of adults have hypertension
See where this leads?

Open the link. Most of those are not confirmed yet for their underlying condition. Only 17 didn't have an underlying condition. That is no different than traffic deaths, etc.

Did they not count obesity as an underlying health issue? Of course not. I wonder how those numbers look after that.

So you assume every person that died and is labeled pending had one of those maladies?
I’d bet over half the US adult population has one of the maladies listed or is obese.

According to that I have underlying issues due to my kidneys/GI. RIP Barstools

It was a good run.

Hypertension,

This one is a biggie. Ace inhibitors produce ace2 receptors. Ace2 receptors are what the corona uses to enter the respiratory system. I imagine hospitals were just pumping those people up with their prescribed lisinopril, day after day. And they were getting worse and worse

But in the flip side, the ace inhibitors led to increased ACE-2 receptors. If they stop the ace inhibitors meds, then you have not inhibited any ace-2 receptors, including the ones that were previously blocked by the medication.
